Acclaimed Colophon Foundry Becomes a Member of the Monotype Imaging Holdings Inc Family
The globally recognized type and technology company Monotype announced the addition of Colophon Foundry to its family. Colophon, established in 2009 by Edd Harrington and Anthony Sheret, is highly respected for its modern and bespoke type designs for notable international brands. Among these are Burger King, Canva, Twickenham, Central Saint Martins, and Cadilac.
The London-based company, consisting of eight creative talents, boasts 85 type families in its library and is equipped with innovative type technology tools. Their portfolio showcases successful partnerships with numerous national and international brands, creating unique and impactful custom work.
Examples of their work include creating the readable and unique Canva Sans custom type for Canva. They also crafted a dynamic multi-personality typeface for the Central Saint Martins, which mirrors the art school’s past, present, and future.
