Michele Borba, EdD, is a renowned international educator known for her effective parenting strategies aimed at improving child behavior, self-esteem, and moral development. She is also sought-after worldwide as a motivational speaker, having delivered workshops to over 750,000 participants. In addition to her speaker role, Borba acts as an educational consultant to hundreds of schools. Her work in promoting safety in education resulted in the passing of a proposal (SB1667) to end school violence into California law in 2002.

Borba is a regular guest expert on numerous television and radio shows, including NPR talk shows, NBC’s The Today Show, CBS’s The Early Show, ABC’s The View, Fox & Friends, to name a few. She is also frequently interviewed by reputable publications such as Newsweek, U.S. News & World Report, Child, Parents, Working Mother, and many more.

Besides her educator and author roles, Borba is a former teacher and was a partner in a private practice for troubled youth. She currently resides in Palm Springs, California.
