Students must complete all 15 credit hours listed in the program. This includes 9 credit hours of advanced research courses in both qualitative and quantitative research. The courses can be selected outside the College of Education but are subject to approval by the doctoral committee.

In addition, students have to engage in a two credit hour practicum or internship, which must be confirmed with the doctoral committee.

For the Curriculum and Instruction specialization, students must take the mandatory courses and an additional 12 credit hours of electives in the Curriculum and Instruction field. Again, the course selection needs to be approved by the doctoral committee.

Finally, students must complete 6 credit hours for the Dissertation in Practice. FeedBack is to be provided as required.
