Congress leader Bhupinder Singh Hooda accused the BJP-led government on Tuesday of inflicting ‘unemployment and misery’ on Haryana for over nine years. In a Congress worker meeting in Nuh, he expressed the state’s desire to oust the present BJP-JJP government from power. Referencing last year’s Nuh violence, Hooda criticized the BJP’s ‘divisive politics’, which he claimed has been rejected by the people.

The former chief minister alleged that Haryana has suffered under deteriorating law and order, leading to a depletion of investments and an unemployment rate that’s the highest in the country. Hooda also claimed that the current government is undermining the medical college established in Mewat during the previous Congress rule, noting a lack of doctors and medicine available at the hospital.

The Leader of Opposition asserted that the Congress is endeavoring to steer Haryana back to a forward trajectory. He expressed optimism that a Congress government will be the state’s choice, offering welfare to the people through progressive policies.

Haryana Congress president Udai Bhan further expressed confidence that the BJP-JJP government will be voted out. He attributed this prediction to the government’s decisions, stating that these actions are undermining any remaining support from the public.
