Edd’s & Flos Artisan Bakery Café recently opened its doors in downtown Lancaster, housed at 47 N. Queen St. The bakery, originally named Wish You Well Bakery, was rebranded and reopened, with expanded seating and an espresso machine added to the premises. Meghan Young and Sebastian Schuck, now married, are the proprietors of the establishment.

The bakery introduced a dynamic menu, featuring items such as bagels, cinnamon buns, pies, and quiche. In addition to baked goods, the café now offers a selection of sandwiches, salads, and diverse coffee drinks. Cookies, croissants, pastries, and pies are also available for indulgence. The rebranding was done to avoid confusion, as the former name tinted the bakery with a semblance of a health-centric or gluten-free establishment.

The new name, Edd’s & Flo’s Artisan Bakery Café, is reminiscent of Young’s childhood cats, named after the comedic rock duo Flo & Eddie. The bakery is situated where Harvest Moon Bagel Co. once stood before it closed in May 2021, which was previously occupied by Super Bread Colombian Bakery. The café operates from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday through Sunday. More information can be found by calling 717-617-2668, visiting eddsandflos.com, or the Facebook page.
