This year, New Year’s Eve in the Tri-Cities falls on a Sunday. Regardless if you choose to celebrate on Saturday or during the day on Sunday or even on the Sunday night, an array of events are planned, suitable for everyone. Options include family-friendly events, sober events, and parties. Here are some of the events taking place:

On Saturday, Dec. 30 there’s the New Year, Same Me event - Out and About brought to you by Back 2 Bass. The party starts at 9 p.m and tickets are $10. Simultaneously, a New Year’s Dance Pre-Party will be taking place at Jokers with DJ Wepaje playing Latin club music.

On Sunday, Dec. 31. There’s the Family New Year’s Eve Skate happening at Rollarena Skating Center from 1 to 5 p.m. and 7:30 to 10 p.m. Meanwhile, a Dinner Cruise is also taking place, organised by Water2Wine Cruises at Columbia Point Marina from 4:30 p.m.

Also on the same day, a Sober Charcuterie Workshop offered by Kindred Spirits will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. Other events include a Rock Party at Red Lion Pasco, Art Deco Evening at Europa, 80’s Prom and New Year’s Eve Bash at Moonshot Brewing, New Year’s Disco at Uptown Shopping Center, a party at Canyon Lakes Golf Course and a club-style party at Benton County Fairgrounds all taking place at 8 p.m.

All these events present different experiences and price ranges to suit any preference for ringing in the new year.
