Norway’s unemployment rate held steady in November, according to labour force survey data from Statistics Norway. The rate was 3.7 percent, the same as the previous month, and slightly higher than the 3.6 percent recorded in the same month last year. The number of unemployed individuals was 110,000 in November, which is slightly less than the 112,000 from a year prior. The data also showed an employment rate of 70.3 percent, compared to 70.0 percent in October, suggesting a mild increase in employed individuals. Similarly, a slightly downward trend was noted in unemployment from October to November. The statistics reflect a three-month stable jobless rate of 3.6 percent from August to October, compared to September.
