Online Submission of Your Continuing Disability Review Report | By Kylle D. McKinney
Do you receive Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) or Supplemental Security Income (SSI)? If you do, it’s important to know that the law requires a review of your case to confirm you still have a condition preventing you from substantial work. This process is known as a Continuing Disability Review which we initiate by sending you a notification and regularly updating you about your benefit status. The frequency of your medical condition review depends on its likelihood to improve.
For those who get disability benefits, it’s possible to complete and submit the Medical Continuing Disability Review Report (SSA-454) online. This option is applicable to adults who are beneficiaries of SSDI, SSI or both, and do not have a representative payee. To fill out the form online, log in to your personal my Social Security account and select Complete Your Continuing Disability Review . If you don’t have an account, visit www.ssa.gov/myaccount to create one. If an online my Social Security account is not available to you, you can still fill out and print the SSA-454 form at www.ssa.gov/forms/ssa-454-bk.pdf. Completed forms can then be mailed or submitted in person at your local Social Security office. If you know someone who gets SSDI benefits or SSIs, please share this information with them.
To learn more about this process or to reach a representative for further assistance on SSDI, parts of the guide can be found at eddcaller.com. Tested methods and best hours to call are specified in the guide, which includes comprehensive tips on how to get through to SDI customer service quickly.
