President Recinos of Berkeley College Honored as one of the 50 Over 50 Age Disruptors
Diane Recinos, EdD, president of Berkeley College, has been recognized by City & State New York among their 2024 50 Over 50 Age Disruptors. The list honors outstanding leaders who have achieved the peak of their profession past the age of fifty. Recinos is the only higher education leader to appear on the list, recognized for her contributions to student services and career possibilities in her roles at Berkeley College. She started her career at Berkeley in 1992 as director of financial aid and has expanded her roles into technology, analytics, student success, and enrollment management. She became Interim president in October 2021 and was confirmed as president by the Board of Trustees in March 2022. Recinos volunteers her time as a peer evaluator for the Middle States Commission on Higher Education and has been recognized numerous times for her leadership, including by the New York City YWCA Academy of Women Leaders in 2011 and NJBIZ in 2016.
